Join us at the Phillis Wheatley Community Center for an extraordinary Black Business Expo in celebration of Black History Month. This event is dedicated to honoring the contributions and achievements of Black business owners, entrepreneurs, and leaders within our community.

Event Highlights

Honoring Brandy Jones:

We are proud to honor Brandy Jones, the founder of “Hair Revivalist,” a distinguished Black business owner, entrepreneur, author, and woman of God. Brandy’s inspirational journey to success will be a highlight of the event, as she shares her motivational story and the milestones she has achieved in her career.

Vendor Fair: 12 PM – 5 PM

Explore a vibrant vendor fair showcasing an array of Black-owned businesses. From unique products to innovative services, this fair is a fantastic opportunity to discover and support local Black entrepreneurs.

Artist and Spoken Word Segment: 5 PM – 6:30 PM

Immerse yourself in the rich cultural expressions of our community. This segment will feature talented artists and spoken word performers, delivering powerful and evocative pieces that celebrate Black heritage and creativity.

Free Community Movie & Popcorn: 7 PM

Wind down the day with a free community movie screening on our impressive LED screen. Enjoy a great film with a side of popcorn, bringing the community together for a relaxing and enjoyable evening.

Onsite Lunch by JustShon’s Restaurant: 11 AM – 3 PM

Satisfy your taste buds with a delicious lunch provided by JustShon’s Restaurant. Operating onsite, they will be serving mouth-watering dishes from 11 AM to 3 PM, ensuring you are well-fed while you enjoy the day’s activities.
